The Senate GOP’s decision to hold off on ousting Ted Stevens is totally misguided – Basically, they’re arguing that they should wait for the vote to be counted in Alaska before acting on Stevens.
The flaw in the logic is that Ted Stevens was convicted. Whether he wins the election or not is irrelevant. He has been found guilty and should be expelled.
I can only imagine what the GOP would be saying if Stevens’ last name were D-Alaska.
